Description: Consisting of an in-class and lab components, these courses are offered jointly with the College&rsquojs Division of Human Services. Designed for those who wish to make rapid progress in developing ASL skills and expanding the multicultural sign vocabulary utilizing the access to the classroom and the state-of-the-art ASL Language Lab! The courses are available to any student who doesn’t wish to earn academic credits. Acceptance into the course is based on student's level of proficiency in ASL as well a written assessment of the student's ASL proficiency will be provided. Thus, all continuing education students will need to be assessed through an intensive screening. Students, wishing to earn academic credit for the course, must be admitted to the college for the Fall or Spring semester, and are not required to take this intensive screening.
